Gripping Wrenches is awesome….if you want an honest reliable mechanic this is your place. My 2021 Silverado has two batteries and one of them died so I replaced it and then it died a couple of weeks later. The person at the autoparts store said something was draining the battery. I assumed it was an alternator. I spoke to him on the phone and he recommended before I bring it in to have the secondary battery tested and explained to me how to properly test it. Lo and behold the second battery was dead.and I replaced it. They could have charged me a diagnostic fee and who knows what else but rather than make me waste time or money he helped me some good FREE advice. This guy is a Godsend! I was told by another shop I needed a transmission and was already looking for another vehicle since I have high mileage. Outstanding service on such short notice. He changed the starter and battery on my Cadillac STS on Christmas Eve. The starter is definitely located in a jacked-up spot. But he stuck with it in the extreme cold and handled the job like a champ. Not once did he complain. Has a can-do attitude and the drive to work the job from start to finish.
